Resumo

Risk is a factor of utmost importance to consider when addressing the issue of management of physical assets as it may have implications for safety, business continuity or even on the impact on environment. The management of physical assets and the knowledge of the underlying risk in each particular situation become a prominent concern for the persons responsible for conducting the operations and maintenance and is a matter of first order when safety or significant economic losses are analyzed.
