Resumo

The aim of the article is to present the changes that took place in training in the subject of cultural awareness in the years 2003–2020. The authors take into account the national training that took place during the Iraqi Freedom and the latest NATO Mission Iraq training in which they took part of. Using the example of the Polish army, they are showing what differences and why they occurred in the cultural education of soldiers on foreign missions.
