Resumo
Currently there are several neuropsychological computerized assessment instruments. However, despite the fact that the Toulouse-Piéron cancellation test (TP) is one of the most-used tools to assess attention, it can only be applied in an analog format. In addition, the TP does not assess how the visual tracking is performed during application. The aim of this study is to explore how coupling digital TP test with eye tracking can obtain deeper information on attentional processes. In a mixed experimental design, we recorded eye movements during the application of TP in digital and compared the result with data collected from the analog format in 54 participants. The results showed a lower performance in digital format and a differential eye pattern according to work-efficiency on TP.
