Scientific knowledge is crucial when it refers to the curriculum for the teaching of Science and Biology. However, it is essential to consider the process in which new knowledge is related in a non-arbitrary and substantive way to the learner's cognitive structure that is, allowing the student to build a meaningful learning. Hence school’s concern on seeking new ways to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Information and Communication Technologies as facilitators of meaningful learning has been constant in the present times, can find various types of research in this area. The objective of this work is to make an analysis about the use of ICT as a didactic and pedagogical tool in two educational public institutions involving eight teachers, two coordinators and two school managers. According to the survey results, it is possible to conceive a lived meaningful learning through the development of autonomy, interaction and mediation. It emphasizes the importance of new and deeper investigations of educational policies in order to contribute to quality education, in which ICT is combined with the effective construction of meaningful learning. This research it is a qualitative description, whose theoretical framework used the categories meaningful learning classes, science education and ICT.
