Abstract

Can observe that the process of teacher training is a special moment of the evolution, once the context of postmodernity suggests convergence in various areas of human knowledge to promote positive results, causing significantly changes in education. Reinforcing this scenario, the challenges are increasingly complex, through aspects ranging from the preparation of the evil teacher and the student's disability, undergoing a widespread student motivation primarily to issues related to content and methodological tools. This reality reveals a dire need to review the profile of the teaching, to impose a transformation capable of to do the teacher not only a great technicality, but especially in professional conduct highly reflective. That means building a new teacher identity, from the new requirements of scenes and scenarios that represent the process of human evolution in the design of the current Brazilian Society. Given the above, this Master's Dissertation with Title A Study on the Process of Teacher Training: The Making of A Reflective Teacher in the Context of Early Childhood Education, invests in discussing the teaching profile that addresses the reality and the changing moment of Education. The universe of the study is the faculty of the School of Municipal Elementary Education Teacher Josué Gomes da Silveira, located in the city Alagoa Grande, State of Paraiba. The study will be developed in early childhood education. The methodological tool used to collect the data is a questionnaire application the teachers of the school above. The data collected will enable two analyzes: a qualitative and a numerical evaluation of the teachers interviewed, regarding context that relates the traditional profile of the teacher with the profile seen in this study as the ideal: the profile of the reflective teacher.
