This study is to analyse the Portuguese language teacherpractice focus on the literary
textson the party of 6 th and 9 th years ending grades of elementar school in the municipal
college Honorina Passos in Trancoso, district of Porto Seguro / Ba. The main purpose is
to analyse how this literary texts in handled in classes take basic premisse the new teach
conception of the Portuguese Language as emphasis in the literaly knowledge, based
acording to this stave on the new Nacional Base Comum Curricular BNCC (2017). The
reason of the investigative process has support for notices as Nacional Curricular
Paramenters (PCNs) of the Portuguese Language 1997,1988; 2017 and others authors as
Cosson (2012); Bardin (2006) Gatti (2010) e Mortatti (2008). The methodologies used
consists in bilbliographic consut and fi research, keeping as investigative mechanism,
organised enterview, observation and document analysis.
Courtig thechical framework to the date collected, show us that literature teaching, the
didactic resources that this scholl offers, for the contente and strategy developed by the
teacher in the classroom does not meet to the requiriment for training a reader, scribe
neither a competente appreciator of literary texts as suggests the new guidelines of the Portuguese Language according to the BNCC (2017).
