This study is in line with the concerns that lead us to the problem of the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into the educational system. The continuous training of teachers is a factor of valorization of the professional activity of this class and to which the advancement of science and technology has contributed greatly. This research addresses the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in teacher training in a Higher Education Institution in Angola. The theoretical part of this study addresses the improvement of the quality of the Educational System in Angola and the insertion of ICT at national and international level and the evolution of its use in teacher training. A qualitative investigation was carried out with 80 teachers, to whom a questionnaire survey was applied and interviews were made to the members of the management of the institution. The results showed that the use of ICT contributes to the improvement of the intervention and participation of teachers in the teaching-learning process. Many teachers believe that it is imperative that more is being made into training so that teachers can use ICT easily, efficiently and effectively. In this way, they would admit that it would be possible to apply educational resources used during training, because the school has to have the material, didactic and human capacity in order to promote and contribute to the formation of future-facing citizens.
