The present Dissertation intends to study the playing activities influence in the construction of child’s development. From the studies theme "The Playful in kindergarten: a study of the skills needed to master the contemporary" it was realized that, although the games are part of children's daily lives, they aren’t necessarily part of the school routine. The school stands out as an official space where you must learn how to read and write. The games are not part of this environment, except for some activities developed inside physical education classes. The main purpose for this studies was to analyze what the teachers thought about the importance of the recreative games in early childhood education, and what teaching skills were necessary for teachers to improve the way the recreative games are implemented in schools daily life. This field research has a qualitative nature of descriptive exploratory type, where were used interviews to early educational teachers from the public schools network in the municipality of the city of Cabedelo-Pb / Brazil, as research instruments. The data gathered from the teachers interviewed was quite clear. They claim that games and playtime are a part of the development of the human being and, therefore, they must be teaching tools that cannot be excluded from any schools educational context, especially during early school life. It was also highlighted the need to train teachers for them to be able to use recreation games, where the planning and theoretical basis cannot be lacking when applying them as a feature of daily formation. As public school manager I’ve watched the relationship between play and learning and realized that some teachers were unaware of the basic principles of early childhood education, as they are detailed in National Curriculum Reference: Care, Educate and Play.
