The main worry of this research, was to comprehend what are the mecanisms, that drive the
aggressors in practicing the phenomenon of bullying, as well as the effects in the victims and
their family. The research was held with families, three victims and six aggressors. We
conducted some applications of semistructured interviews to the participants. The analysis of
the qualitative data was held by the Thematic Content Analysis (TCA). As for the results,
they showed different causes of bullying being: prejudices; confidence in their own
superiority; violence, aggression and conflict in the media; envy; familiar environment; low
self-esteem; lack of values in their neighborhood, community, and a bad school environment.
As consequences of the phenomenon, academic losses emerged and a desire to change
schools. Also stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, fear and insecurity; problems in theirselfesteem;
social isolation; denial, avoidance and detachment; irritability, anger and hostility;
satisfaction of needs; hatred, anger and revenge. The families of the victims feel discredit in
school, family conflict; anxiety and concerns; guilt, shame, anger, pain and a need for
professional help. Therefore, it is suggested an educational mobilization of the schools,
