Abstract

The definition of sexual behaviours, which are intended as crime, becomes complex by the interpretations multiplicity. With the attempt of understanding the phenomenon and the behaviour changing of the sexual offense, today sexual crime is defined as the coercion of any sexual act or attempt in order to obtain a sexual act aimed against someone. Through the contribution of several approaches and interpretations of the sexual crime, the importance of intervening in the aggressor is understood, as the presence of the psychopathology can present some connection to the crime. This way, the intervention in the prison environment aims to reduce its recurrence. In this sense, the work we want to present here has as goal the comprehension of the role of the maladaptive precocious schemes (EMP’s) in the emotional adjustment to the imprisonment of rappers. The study involved 53 people convicted by the crime of rape. The results of this study show that the self-control schemes, subjugation and pessimism present a predictor effect in the psychopathological symptomatology of these convicted rappers.
