This work results from an empirical study conducted during the supervised teaching
practice in a 12th-year Visual Arts class at the Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro School in Caldas
da Rainha.
This work aims to approach creativity, relating theory to practice. How creativity
should be developed in schools by the teacher in order to captivate students. An analysis of
the conflicts in a given creative group in the visual arts will also be presented.
Regarding the groups of students who took part in this study, they showed
commitment and cooperation in carrying out the proposed activities. However, their main
difficulties are related to the organization and communication in a group in order to reach
a common consensus, given the multiplicity of ideas existing in each element of the group.
