This study aims to relate two Personality assessment tools: Personality Inventory (FPI-R) of Freiburg (1970) and Personality Inventory, Form A (PRF-A), Jackson (1989) (English version Research) as well as assess their convergent validity, considering that these questionnaires theoretically propose to evaluate similar constructs relating to personality. Another objective is to determine a Facebook users' personality profile.
The sample consists of 240 Facebook users mostly female with an average age of 28.53 years (SD = 9.23), marital status that stood out was the single (a) or boyfriend (a), the education most prevalent is the 12th grade and degree, across both occupations stand out workers and mostly have hobbies.
The main results lead us to conclude that the Portuguese average Facebook user tends to dominate and enhance the fun.
By convergent validity was possible verify that the Personality Inventory (FPI-R) of Freiburg (1970) and Personality Inventory, Form (PRF-A), Jackson (1989) (English version Research), and their respective subscales are positively and strongly correlated.
