A Criminalidade Infanto-Juvenil : intervenção adotada pelo Centro Educativo na Recuperação dos Jovens Delinquentes que cumprem a Medida Tutelar Educativa

Abstract

Crime is a anti-social practice able to prevent the development, progress, peace and social tranquility. For this reason, the same, requires special attention by governments, schools, vocational training centers, psychologists, sociologists, NGOs, Churches and legal persons. For the fact that it is human behavior, that must be constantly guided by social norms, there is an urgent need for young people to be educated, re-educated and re-integrated in the institutions. In this context, the present study is an investigation that is entitled Crime Children and Youth with the main objective to analyze which the Strategical measures of Intervention in the area of Social tackle this problem (Juvenile Crime) and also analyze the types of intervention that included and are recommended in an educational project of the Education Center Padre António de Oliveira in Recovery Youth offenders and check if the witness changes Graduates and rank the best practices and less good practice. To attain knowledge about this issue, we used a qualitative methodology, and the empirical study was developed based on the observation of descriptive contexts where young people are fulfilling educational measures in a closed and collected through the interview, the opinion of a person responsible for the Educational Centre concerned that with his testimony, provides a personal view on the issue under study and how the institution faces, helping to understand it in its entirety. With regard to research, this study aimed to analyze four sources: documents structuring intervention in an educational center, the Internal Regulation (IR), which elaborates the overall operation of the center, the Educational Intervention Project (IPP)documents that structure and organize the educational intervention, direct observation made in the center as well as an interview with Head of the Center.
