Abstract
This paper reflects upon drawing as
projectual process in the education of the
designer. Besides the communication aspects
that drawing proposes as ultimate end, it is
especially focused on its exploratory potencial
as tool and expression of thought and, in
particular, its working as stimulus to creativity.
The reinforcement through drawing of the
conceptual structures of the various areas
appears to be fundamental as incentive to
imagination, for the practice of design in a
world in constant change. Also the development
of digital technologies has allowed the
enrichment of the practice of drawing, making
new graphic experiments possible, confirming it
as an “expanded field” of the creative
process/perceptual and conceptual ability for
the designer. Some of these issues are
presented in an integrated manner, by means of
examples of programming made.
