Abstract

This essay fits the area of Nursing Learning Values. The importance of this theme comes from the finding of our professional practice and of the theoretical and practical teaching; where values and human sense in taking care of someone as a human being show that, so many times, their dignity can be forgotten. This is where our interest and motivation find the reason of preoccupation and responsibility in forming a competent Professional and an authentic citizen with values. The nursing teaching should have a moral conduct that would reflect, having in mind ethic and moral principles, our actions values in order to practice in a much conscientious and reflected way. Apart from necessarily focus on scientifically and instrumental knowledge, the teaching must privileged the development of capabilities such as: negotiation, critical sense and teamwork, creativity and ethical thinking consolidated in a values conduct. With this communication it is intended to reproduce the route taken and reflect about the importance of the Nursing Learning Values. Through this reflection and in line with the objetives we mixed the paradigm, in research we do, we will use a multimétodo approach to the study will leave enriched. The study will occur in the Escola Superior de Enfermagem da Região Norte and in the hospital institutions where the internship takes place. The participants of the study are students from 1sr, and 4th years (and these are the interns), the teachers responsible for the internship and the teacher’s presidents of the technical and scientifically counsel organs, pedagogical counsel and the president of the student association. We will develop the fieldwork using the following data collection: documents analysis, participant observation, interviews, questionnaire and the use of the scale of values Rokeach Value Survy – RVS (Rokeach, 1973); Focus Group formed by area experts, which goal is an objetive debate, conducted or moderated, that introduces a theme to a group of experts that sets the theme discussion in a non-structural and natural matter. One of the study fundamental parts will consist in the implementation of multiple triangulations. With this Project we intend to identify new values to be included or excluded in the Code of Ethics that guides the profession. It is our desire to send the results as a proposition to the Judicial Council that will appreciate it and decide the changing proposal
