Project Details
Description
This project aims to analyze the role that assessment "of", "for", and "while" learning plays in relation to the external assessment of students' school performance and, in particular, to understand how an external, international, standardized, and large-scale assessment, such as PISA, has contributed to promoting among Portuguese and Brazilian teachers internal assessment practices and strategies for students' reading literacy.
Objectives
Starting from assessment as a central element of analysis, the research project aims to problematize, in an integrated way, the construction of school results in Portugal and Brazil, taking as a starting point reading literacy in Portuguese.
