Biography

Marisa Filipe holds a Ph.D. degree in Psychology from the University of Porto (2010-2014). Over the years, she has made significant contributions to the research fields of language, executive functions, and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism. Her work has resulted in several published articles in international scientific journals, and she is on the editorial board of international journals. Furthermore, Marisa has participated in various research projects and has authored Portuguese translations/adaptations of multiple assessment tools. Along with her research contributions, Marisa is dedicated to knowledge dissemination and transfer. Thus, she has presented talks at international and national meetings and has taught or collaborated in Ph.D., MA seminars, and professional development courses. Marisa also has extensive clinical experience in the field.
