Aggregation in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho. PhD and D.E.A. in Sociology from the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris. Degree in Philosophy from the University of Porto. Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Cooperation at Lusófona University. She teaches on the doctoral programme in Communication and Activism and on FCAATI's master's programmes in the area of communication sciences. Her areas of specialisation are the sociology of communication, the sociology of events and audiences, activism and digital social networks, with books, scientific articles and communications in these fields. She is a researcher at CICANT.
