Biography

PhD in Environmental Engineering (IST, Univ. Lisbon, 2019), with a Master's in Environmental Engineering - Water Management and Rural Improvements (ISA, Univ. Lisbon, 2008), is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of ULHT and Visiting Assistant Professor at ISA, Univ. Lisbon. For a decade, she was a researcher in numerical modeling at IST, Univ. Lisbon. In the past years, has participated in several national and international consultancy and research projects (European countries, Mozambique, Swaziland, India, Pakistan, Brazil, São Tomé e Príncipe, among others). She is a member of the Management Committee of the International Water Association (IWA) River Basin Management Specialist Group; member of the APRH Specialized Commission for Water Quality and Ecosystems, and Ambassador of the European Climate Pact of the European Commission.
