Biography

Ana Mourato has a degree in Technological Chemistry and a PhD in Physical-Chemistry, University of Lisbon. The post-doctoral studies were focused on the biosynthesis of noble metal nanoparticles and their application in catalysis. Since 2015, she has worked as Science Manager at CQB and DQB, FCUL. In the last years she was a junior researcher at the Structural Chemistry Center where she developed a project on Responsible Research and Innovation, addressing ethics, open science, public involvement in science, etc. She is currently Science Manager at Center for Research in Biosciences and Health Technologies (CBIOS), at Human Environment Interaction Lab (HEILab) and at Lusófono Institute for Research and Development (ILIND), Universidade Lusófona.
