Organisation profile

The Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies (FCNET) is an organic unit of the Lusófona University of Porto, with its own management and scientific and pedagogical bodies.

FCNET follows a sustained policy of quality in teaching, research and provision of services to the community, as a means to achieve excellence and national and international recognition in various fields of Science, Engineering and Technology.

FCNET offers Degrees and Masters, as well as diverse postgraduate training, with innovative programs and a markedly professional profile.

The teaching staff is made up of teachers with high academic qualifications and technical, scientific and pedagogical experience, in a symbiosis between career teachers and professionals from non-university sectors, as a guarantee of the connection of the teaching provided to the demands of the labor market and the employability of graduates.

FCNET regularly organizes scientific conferences, technical meetings, lectures and debates in various areas, striving for the integration and participation of its students in them.
