Organic unit dedicated to teaching and research in the fields of economy, business, markets, transport, tourism and mathematics.

The School of Economic and Organizational Sciences (ECEO) covers the areas of economics, management and tourism, guided by the common and transversal objective of training highly qualified professionals, endowed with critical thinking and creativity, who will allow them to solve problems, informed, strategic and sustainable way.

Thus, ECEO assumes sustainability, interdisciplinarity, adaptability, diversity and multiculturalism as the basic values of its activity. ECEO adds value to the academic experiences of its students, actively and intentionally promoting their relational capital and their strategic career management.

ECEO assumes an innovative and differentiating academic model, which abandons teaching centered solely on knowledge, in favor of learning centered on competences, in which the student must demonstrate his acquisition through effective exercise and not through repetition. Pedagogical techniques that involve the use of gamification, simulation and collaborative learning contribute to a training experience based on the objective of promoting active learning, in which the student integrates theoretical knowledge into their effective practice, through the growing mastery of tools that provide them with real, current and relevant skills for their employability and professional and social training.
